This page describes what personal data I process when you visit emiljohansson.info, contact me or buy something, why I do it and what rights you have.
Data controller
Emil Johansson IT Konsult, company registration number 920212-2413, Kungsgårdsvägen 10B, 392 37 Kalmar, Sweden, is responsible for the processing of your personal data. Send questions about personal data to emil@emiljohansson.info, or call +46735030890.
When you buy something
I process your email address, what you bought, the price, the time and your agreement to immediate delivery. This is needed to deliver the product and send the confirmation. Legal basis: contract. I cannot deliver without an email address, so it is required for a purchase.
Stripe takes your payment and the details you give at the checkout, and runs its own fraud checks. I never get access to your full card details. If you pay with Klarna or Swish, they also get details of the payment.
The details of the purchase are kept for seven years, as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires. Legal basis: legal obligation.
When you contact me
In the contact form you give your name, email address, the service it concerns and your message, and a phone number if you wish. I use these details to reply to you and to do what you ask about. Legal basis: legitimate interest in being able to answer questions, or steps before a contract if you want to hire me.
I keep messages while the matter is open and delete them no later than two years after it has closed, unless they are part of the bookkeeping. This also applies if you email me directly.
The form is sent to my email through Resend. Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form against spam and gets your IP address and technical information about your browser. Legal basis: legitimate interest in stopping spam.
When you visit the website
The website runs on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and technical details about your browser to deliver the pages and protect them against attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
Visitor statistics
I use Umami, which I run myself, to see how the website is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, approximate location, language, browser and type of device. Umami uses no cookies and does not store your IP address. Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the website.
If you choose Decline in the box shown on your first visit, you are not counted in those statistics. To change your choice, clear the site data for this website in your browser and the box appears again.
Cloudflare also counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, without cookies. Your choice does not affect that measurement.
Cookies
The website sets no cookies of its own. Your choice in the box is saved in your browser (local storage). The spam protection on the contact page may set a technical cookie, which the form needs to work.
Who gets the data
I never sell your data. It is only shared with the suppliers needed to run the website and the shop: Stripe (payment), Resend (sending email), Namecheap (my email) and Cloudflare (hosting, storage and spam protection). Data may also be given to authorities when the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EU and EEA
Stripe, Resend and Cloudflare may process data in the USA. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to find out what data I hold about you and get a copy of it, to have mistakes corrected, to have data deleted, to restrict the processing and to move data you have given me. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Data that the Bookkeeping Act requires me to keep cannot be deleted until that time has passed.
Get in touch at emil@emiljohansson.info and I will reply within a month.
If you think I am handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), Box 8114, 104 20 Stockholm, Sweden, www.imy.se.
